The front is a 6.13-inch Carta 1300 panel, which is the right call for a phone you will actually read on. The detachable rear module is the headline: a magnetic color LCD for the moments grayscale fails. Base units ship without it.

It is expensive and, outside China, an import project. For people who have been waiting for A9’s successor, this is the one.
