Kindle Scribe (2024)

If your main job is reading PDFs and annotating Kindle books, Scribe is the least fiddly large e-paper device in the West. The 2024 stylus and software close some of the old gaps: folders, better notebooks, Active Canvas in books.

It is still a Kindle that learned to write, not a writing instrument that learned to shop. Export is awkward. Templates are thin. Buy it for the library you already have, not to replace a stack of Moleskines.
