Dasung Paperlike 253: a desk that does not shout

25.3 inches of Carta. Ghosting, expense, and the first monitor we did not want to turn off.

A 25-inch electrophoretic panel is a ridiculous object until 4 p.m., when a normal monitor has been throwing light in your face for eight hours. Paperlike 253 does not throw light so much as permit it. The front light is a lamp, not a strobe.

145 ppi is coarse on a phone and correct at 70 centimeters. We wrote this review on it. Ghosting on a moving caret is real. Dasung’s refresh puck becomes muscle memory or it becomes a reason to return the thing.

Boox Mira Pro 25 is the other door into the same room. Firmware, warranty geography, and which shop will still exist in 2028 should pick the winner, not a 3 percent contrast difference.
